Pigasus Stuffie (Flying Pig)

How did this take me this long to make one? (the pattern in free via Martha Stewart and the wings, well I “winged it.”)Image

Giraffe With Pattern

I love finding old sewing books at the library! Especially if they have patterns. These cuties came from a book from 1968. Coupled with some retro fabric and notions, we’ve got a cute gaggle of giraffes. I used old (1970s) upholstery fabric and ricrac. They all went to good homes. One had some “issues,” I named him Corduroy. He lives with my Aunt Mary, who LOVES him. One went to Dash Darue, who giggles when he sees him; his parents named him Laffy Giraffy!
